Outside of the group of patients and circumstances defined by the LSCMMG where treatment is provided by a specialist Sexual Health Service, tadalafil 2.5 mg and 5 mg once daily tablets are not recommended for prescribing in Lancashire and South Cumbria for the treatment of erectile dysfunction.

This colour classification is in agreement with the recommendations contained within the NHS England and NHS Clinical Commissioners guidance document ‘Items which should not routinely be prescribed in primary care: Guidance for CCGs‘ published in November 2017.
